Here's How To Add Melodies To Your Favorite Songs As Easily As Possible
Simplest way to add melodies when playing your favorite songs. Note names are printed and and chord names are displayed in boxes.
Just use the Piano Genius methods of "dressing up chords" as accompaniment, choose the best inversions that match the melody and you're on your way. 🙂
Below are some E-Z Play Today Songbooks, they are oversized 12"x9" large type with big round easy to read music notes. If you like the EZ Leadsheets I highly recommend trying them out, you can click the links below (affiliate links obviously) or go to Amazon or any other music/book store. Just make sure they say "E-Z Play Today" on them.

I Don't Want To Sound Like A Beginner
Beginners are usually taught to play basic chords with their left hand and play the single-note melodies with their right hand. *That's fine* if that's what you want to do, but you can also use them as a quick-learning tool for intermediate playing.
How Do I Sound Good Playing From These?
By playing the best chord inversions with your right hand that include these melody notes, you can add these melodies to your existing chords, and using the left-hand patterns and standard chord fills as taught on PianoGenius.com you can start sounding better quickly. You should be able to play a song through playing basic chords before trying to add the melody.
Why Are These Better Than Sheet Music?
Traditional sheet music can be overwhelming by having way too much information in it. All you really need to play a song is what's in these EZ Lead Sheets: The melody notes, the chords, and the lyrics. Everything else is just distracting.
What Are "Lead Sheets" And How Are These Better?
Standard lead sheets also have the melody notes, chords, and lyrics. They're what you find in "Fake Books"... One problem with Fake Books is they tend to be printed extremely small to fit more songs in so they can be a struggle to play from. They also don't show the printed note names (which is helpful) and you need to know what key you're playing in to know what notes to play as sharps/flats. These EZ Play Lead Sheets solves those problems.
